Paragliding in Åre

Tandem flight will definitely become a life time memory, skilled instructors will take you on a flight from Mt Åreskutan to the landing field by lake Åresjön.

Rafting Åre rivers

If you are up for some real adventure, Åre offers world class rafting. Some intensive rapids are on the Vålån and Gevsjös rivers or you can try Indal river, a more gently river with some alternates powerful rapids.

Åre Bike Park

If you are into mountain biking, you will definitely love Scandinavia's largest Bike Park! With its 50 km spread over 35 trails - 853 vertical meters, this is definitly A "MUST TRY" activity!

FOR EXAMPLE - THE EASY RIDER TRAIL

A 5 004 meters of pure cycling ecstasy through

a magnificent landscape. From the cable car

top station all the way down to "Hummeln".

This is a wide machine built trail with its huge

number of berms and magical flow.

Suits all levels of cyclists, from world champs

down to first timers.

Hiking in Åre - stress reliever

Discovering Åre mountains by foot is like getting a bath of energy!

With approximately 100 km of marked hiking trails, there will be no problem to find one that will suit your level or needs. Hiking does not require advanced equipment but you need to think about your clothing once you are up on the mountain.

Very easy. Smooth flat roads or trails of gravel or asphalt. 5 km/h
Easy. Gravel trails or relatively good trails including some gentle slopes. 4 km/h
Intermediate. Trails with some obstacles, wet or sloping sections which may be steep. 3 km/h
Hard. Steep trails covering challenging terrain which demands fitness and sure footing. 1,5-2 km/h
